Built for Ghana's power reality

Power cuts don't stop a Nibav lift.

Ghana's grid has good days and bad days. The Nibav vacuum lifts we install are engineered around that reality, not against it — the three points below are properties of that vacuum system specifically.

  • Battery backup as standard

A dumsor day doesn't take the lift out of service.

  • Gravity descent, always

If power drops mid-ride, the cabin floats gently down on gravity. You can never be trapped in an outage.

  • Runs on ordinary household power

A single-phase household supply is enough. It's comfortable on an inverter or solar setup too.

How a Nibav vacuum lift works

No hydraulics, no machine room, no cables. Just air.

  1. Air pressure lifts the cabin. A vacuum pump changes the air pressure above and below the cabin, and it rises smoothly through its own self-supporting shaft.

  2. Controlled air return floats it down. Releasing that pressure gently lets the cabin descend on gravity, under control at every point.

  3. Descent uses almost no power. Going down costs next to nothing to run — and it works even without mains electricity.
